Located on the beach in Cancun Hotel Zone, Hotel Casa Maya is a beautiful 8 story very upscale resort. The resort consists of 2 buildings with its own private beach on the Caribbean side of the peninsula, and there are always guards on the beach to prevent the locals from entering it. This resort has three outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, and a host of activities for seafaring guests. Sailboats, sailboards, scuba and snorkeling equipment are available. The hotel has several gift shops, a bar and restaurant. The rooms are very large with a kitchen and maid service every day. There is a public bus stop near the hotel which will take you to the flea markets and shopping centers. There is also currency exchange and a taxi stand in the hotel lobby. Please make note that there is a 15.00 visitor fee charged per person at the airport upon departure.
