Located in the middle of New York City, N.Y., in the historic Flatiron district, the Gershwin Hotel is seven blocks from the Empire State Building, fifteen blocks from Grand Central Station and one block from Madison Square Park. In a 100 year old building, the hotel's walls and halls shine with pop art, including a signed original Andy Warhol Campbell's soup can. Guests and locals jam in the Living Room club which features live music, stand up comedy and theater several nights a week. The first floor features an art gallery with works from emerging and established artists. In the grotto bar, guests are invited to visit, commune and relax. The pop art continues in the guestrooms where décor offers a wide variety from velvety purple chairs and abstract furnishings to raw brick walls and a mounted moose head.
